As a mother of two, I have to say that sit and stand strollers are one of the greatest inventions ever.   I myself owned the Fisher Price Sit and Stand Stroller but it is my understanding that it is no longer made.  This left me wondering what a suitable alternative would be for a friend who asked me for a sit and stand stroller recommendation.

After researching what is currently available on the market, the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller seems to most closely resemble the features and benefits of my beloved Fisher Price Sit and Stand Stroller.

The front of the stroller holds a baby or child like a traditional stroller and has an infant car seat adaptor which can accommodate most car seats.  There is a tray that swings out and has a cup holder.  The back part of the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller has a jump seat and a standing tray and is perfect for toddlers and preschool age children who may want to alternate between sitting and standing while out and about.

The stroller also has a fair amount of storage underneath which is one of the things I loved most about my sit and stand stroller.  The handle has a parent tray with a covered compartment and cup holders.

Probably the best thing about the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller is the value.   While many sit and stand strollers come with price tags starting at around $200 and up, the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller is under $150.  In fact, it is currently $110 on Amazon with free shipping which is a really amazing deal.   With these features and a price like that, I really don’t think you can go wrong.

The Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Swing is a good option for parents looking for a swing to hang from the back patio or add to a backyard swing set.   The swing can be reclined to be used with infants and then adjusted to be more upright to accommodate toddlers.

It has some really neat features including a tray (much like the ones on the front of baby strollers) which not only provides a place for drinks, snacks, or their favorite toys but also helps keep your toddler securely in the swing along with the three point harness.
