The Boat Toddler Bed by Kidkraft is a cute and affordable option for a nautical or boat themed toddler room.  While a bed similar to this sells at Pottery Barn Kids for around $1600, this bed sells for just a fraction of that price!

The bed is toddler size so you can use your child’s crib mattress on it.  The bed is made out of wood and features side rails with cute portals.  It is low to the ground, making it safe for little ones to get in and out of.

Probably one of the neatest features of this Boat Toddler Bed is the hidden storage area in the bow area.  You could use it to store toys, books, shoes, clothes, etc.  The storage area has a special hinge which closes slowly to prevent little ones from accidentally smashing their fingers.

Done in white with dark blue stripe down the side, this cute bed is a great addition to any small child’s room.  Kidkraft makes several toddler beds and is known for making sturdy, affordable products for kids.  This bed is no exception.

About the Step 2 Tool Chest Dresser

Step 2 has made some cute children’s products over the years but even I was surprised by the creativity of this one. Their Tool Chest Dresser is not only cleaver but also very functional and is just way too cute for a small child’s bedroom.

The Tool Chest Dresser can be used to store clothes but it also works well as storage for other items such as books, toys, video games, puzzles and board games, etc.  The front looks like tool chest drawers but actually features four door that open to reveal a shelf inside.  This creates two cubby areas for storing your stuff.

The Step 2 Tool Chest Dresser also has stationary wheels (no need to worry about it getting pushed all over the room!) and racing decals all over it, just like a real tool chest!

This item is the perfect compliment for a race car, Lightning McQueen, or transporation themed bedroom.

Customer reviews on the Step 2 Tool Chest were all positive.  I think it should be noted that this item is very sturdy, as are most Step 2 products, but you may want to be aware that it doesn’t have drawers that pull out like a typical dresser.  You can still store clothes in it just fine but they will be stacked on the shelves and not inside a drawer like a normal dresser.

Best Price on the Step 2 Tool Chest Dresser

Amazon.com currently has it for around $80 which is good since most places I checked, it was $100 or more. Also, if you order from them and not a third party seller, you can get free shipping.

Walmart.com also carries it for a reasonable price (currently $89.88) and you can have it shipped free to your local store to save on shipping. These seem to be the best deals on the Step 2 Tool Chest Dresser since Toys R Us is charging $99.99 and other retailers seem to be right in line with that price.
